Vargön Alloys is Sweden’s only producer of ferrochrome and one of Europe’s biggest.

Vargön Alloys also takes great responsibility for the environment, through e.g. investments to improve the internal and external surroundings to the benefit of both the company and the world at large.
A flexible logistics network and a transport system that handles around 1 million metric tons every year guarantee high delivery performance and reliable shipments. Deliveries depart from depots around Europe in order to ensure delivery performance.
Vargön enjoys excellent transportation connections and close proximity to the ports of Trollhättan and Gothenburg. The plant is also close to the Göta River. Two-thirds of production is exported. The remaining products are sold on the Swedish market.
